About the Author

Wendy M. Neugent writes the kind of historical mysteries she wished she could have read as a young history buff.

Her History Detective Club series weaves together pulse-pounding adventures with carefully researched historical details that make the past come alive. After all, she doesn't think learning history should feel like homework.

Her debut adult mystery, Murder Takes a Bow, was a Cozy Mystery Indie of the Year Finalist.

Wendy writes her books at her home in Virginia alongside her aptly named feline assistant, Apurrham Lincoln, who provides unsolicited "editing" services.

  • Seeds of Rebellion is the perfect book to introduce young audiences to the events leading to the American Revolution. I loved the book and could definitely see myself reading it my middle schoolers. Now can you hurry up and get the next one done? I have to know what happens next!!!

It also made me plan a trip to Williamsburg with my grandchildren to have the same experience I had with my children. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

  • I loved it soooo much.
A delightful adventure through past and present day Williamsburg Virginia. Rose and her friends learn valuable lessons by participating in history. A great read for anyone but especially homeschool families looking to add to their history curriculum.
