About Wendy
Wendy M. Neugent writes the kind of historical mysteries she wished she could have read as a young history buff.
Her History Detective Club series weaves together pulse-pounding adventures with carefully researched historical details that make the past come alive. After all, she doesn't think learning history should feel like homework.
Her debut adult mystery, Murder Takes a Bow, was a Cozy Mystery Indie of the Year Finalist.
After college, Wendy worked as a Visitor Aide & tour guide at Colonial Williamsburg. One foggy night, walking down an empty Duke of Gloucester Street after finishing up her last tour for the day, a figure in colonial dress emerged from the mist and said, “Good evening, miss.” For just a moment, Wendy truly felt as though she had slipped back to 1774, and it was then that the “seeds” of Rose’s story began to form in her mind.
Wendy writes her books at her home in Virginia alongside her cat, Apurrham Lincoln, who provides unsolicited "editing" services.
Discover History. Unlock Adventure.
